Auto Shop Service Bays
Floor Coatings For Active Service Bays
Service bay floors endure constant vehicle traffic, rolling toolboxes, floor jacks and equipment movement. A suitable coating system helps protect the concrete from impact, abrasion and everyday wear while creating a professional surface for technicians and customers.
Losing access to service bays can disrupt appointments and reduce shop capacity. Level 10 Coatings considers your operating schedule when planning the installation, helping limit downtime whenever project conditions allow.
Automotive Flooring Solutions
Floor Coating Solutions Built Around Your Facility
Flooring needs can vary between repair bays, lift areas, parts departments and dealership showrooms. Level 10 Coatings evaluates the existing concrete, traffic patterns, cleaning needs and substances used in each area before recommending an appropriate system.
Depending on the facility’s requirements, the recommendation may include a polyurea floor coating or polyaspartic floor coating system. Compatible coatings help protect concrete from exposure to oil, coolant and brake fluid while creating a seamless surface that simplifies routine cleaning.
Customizable textures and finishes also allow the selected system to suit the function and appearance of different areas throughout the facility.

Answers to
Frequently Asked Questions
What Happens If Oil Or Brake Fluid Spills On The Coated Floor?
A compatible coating system can resist exposure to motor oil, coolant, brake fluid and other substances used in automotive facilities. Spills should still be cleaned promptly according to the coating manufacturer’s care instructions.
Can Different Areas Of An Automotive Facility Use Different Finishes?
Yes. Service bays may require more traction, while dealership showrooms may prioritize a smoother, polished appearance. Level 10 Coatings can recommend textures and finishes based on how each area is used.
Can Safety Lines Or Work Zones Be Added To The Floor?
Designated walkways, work areas and equipment zones can be incorporated into the flooring plan. These visual distinctions can help organize movement throughout a service shop or dealership facility.
Can Automotive Floor Coatings Be Applied Over Damaged Concrete?
The concrete must be evaluated and properly prepared before a coating system is installed. Level 10 Coatings will assess cracks, surface wear and other existing conditions to determine what preparation is needed for the project.
